The Sub Prime Window

As you know, the current economic condition of our country is an issue. The subprime mortgage has thrown off balance the ecology of our entire economic system which has even affected other economies worldwide. Though our current condition is an issue, it is also a valuable lesson reminding us how delicate the ecology of our system really is. In this lesson the impacts of this event are negative; however, this lesson implies that a positive event can have the same large scale affects. The Window Man is currently developing a project that will positively impact our country; we are developing a project that will help save the day.

Over fifty percent of our dependency on foreign fossil fuel comes from the energy we use in our homes. And over seventy percent of this energy is lost through old inefficient windows. These windows dissipate your home’s heat in the winter and allow the sun’s rays to heat your home in the summer. These sub prime windows are a waste of energy, and as we all know, wasted energy is wasted money. This wasted money could be used to stimulate our economy but instead it is being used to purchase these fossil fuels only making our current situation worse. Something needs to be done and we at The Window Man feel it is our obligation.
